Wilton Centre
This year began with a major milestone as we celebrated four years at the Wilton Centre in the North East. Reflecting on the past few years, it’s incredible to see how much we’ve grown—as a team, as a business, and in our reach.
Finalists
An amazing start to the year! We were thrilled to announce our place in the finals for Business of the Year Awards, proving yet again the strength and resilience of our team.
Charity Walk
Julie, our Business & Quality Support member, inspired us all by committing to walking 1km daily to raise money for Dementia UK. Her dedication highlights the power of small, consistent actions for a greater cause.
18 Years
Jamie Ashton, our managing director, celebrates 18 incredible years at Projex Solutions.
Awards Dinner
We proudly reached the finals for Yorkshire Business of the Year in two categories: SME of the Year and Community Impact. Celebrating with friends and colleagues, we were reminded of the importance of community and teamwork.
Comic Relief
Comic Relief brought laughter to our office as team members shared their funniest stories. These moments of joy truly reflect our vibrant workplace culture.
Farewell
We said farewell to Jayne, our Human Resource Manager, in a heartfelt celebration. Her kind words and dedication to our team will always be remembered. We wish her all the best in her future adventures.
Yorkshire Dama
We cheered on Yorkshire Dama Cheese as their "Hello Mi Roll" won big on Channel 4’s ‘Aldi’s Next Big Thing’. Seeing local entrepreneurs thrive is always inspiring.
ChemUK 2024
Our team had a fantastic time connecting with industry peers at ChemUK 2024 at NEC Birmingham. It was an opportunity to showcase our expertise and meet new faces.
Top 13%
Jamie Ashton’s CrossFit journey reached new heights as he ranked in the top 13% of his category globally. An impressive achievement that speaks to his determination and drive.

We welcomed Alex Garside, our new EC&I Engineer, to the team. Fun fact: Alex shares a birthday with football legend José Mourinho!
Work Experience
We hosted high school student Ewan for work experience, giving him a firsthand look at the engineering world. His enthusiasm and curiosity reminded us of the importance of mentoring future talent.
Siemens Transform
Lynn and Sharon represented Projex Solutions at the Siemens Transform event in Manchester, networking with industry leaders and showcasing our expertise.
Charity Golf
Jamie Ashton joined the E3 Recruitment charity golf event, raising funds for the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund. It was a day filled with camaraderie and goodwill.

We celebrated 12 wonderful years in our head office, reminiscing about the incredible journey and the milestones we’ve achieved along the way.
Steam Fundamentals
We launched a "Steam Fundamentals" lecture series in collaboration with Dan Wells, Spirax Sarco, IMechE and the University of Huddersfield.
Prostate Cancer
Jamie Ashton shared his personal journey with prostate cancer, raising awareness about the importance of early detection. His bravery and openness inspired us all.

Lynn O’Callaghan and Sharon Craven represented Projex Solutions at the NEPIC: Meet The Members Conference & Exhibition, showcasing our expertise and connecting with industry peers.

We were honoured to be finalists for Employer of the Year at the Business For Calderdale Awards. While we didn’t take home the award, being recognised among the best was a proud moment.
