MHFA England LogoAt Projex Solutions, we believe in supporting our employees’ well-being in every way possible. We’re proud to share that Andrew Morton, our accomplished Engineering Manager, has recently completed a Mental Health First Aider (MHFA) course with MHFA England. With years of experience in engineering management and project coordination, Andrew’s decision to add mental health support to his skill set is a valuable step in ensuring a safe and supportive environment for our team.

Driven by a genuine desire to help others through difficult times, Andrew took on the MHFA training as an extension of his existing first aid qualifications. “I want to support others when they’re going through challenging moments,” Andrew says, adding that this course was a natural next step.

MHFA EnglandMental Health First Aider badge, a leading provider of workplace mental health training, offers evidenced-based programs that empower individuals to identify, support, and guide others through mental health challenges. During his online course, Andrew learned key skills such as active listening, and understanding how to connect individuals with additional resources when needed. The course highlighted a simple yet powerful truth: anyone can become a mental health first aider and make a real difference.

As Projex Solutions’ designated mental health first aider, Andrew has made himself available as a listening ear and support system for colleagues, helping ensure that no one has to face difficulties alone. By applying these skills daily, Andrew contributes to a mentally healthy and safe workspace that reflects our commitment to each employee’s well-being.

At Projex Solutions, we’re not just focused on professional development but also on fostering an inclusive culture that supports mental well-being. Andrew’s dedication to supporting those around him is a true reflection of the compassionate, people-first culture we strive to foster at Projex Solutions. His commitment reminds us that everyone can make a difference, and we’re incredibly grateful to have someone like Andrew creating a safe space for our team to thrive.
