On Thursday, 10th October 2024, it was an honour for Jamie and Lynn to represent Projex Solutions at the Business for Calderdale Awards 2024, a prestigious event that brought together businesses from across the Calderdale area to celebrate their achievements. The event was held at The Venue at Bowers Mill in Barkisland, Halifax, a stunning location that perfectly matched the elegance of the evening.

Arriving to a Prosecco reception, guests mingled in their finest attire – ladies in evening gowns and gentlemen in black tie. The atmosphere was vibrant and celebratory, providing ample opportunity for networking as attendees connected with one another. As the night progressed, a sumptuous and delicious three-course meal was also served.

Soon, it was time for the much-awaited awards ceremony, and it wasn’t long before Projex Solutions’ category, Employer of the Year, was announced. Competing alongside Cedar Court Huddersfield Hotel and MSL Property Care Services Ltd, we were proud to be finalists in such a prestigious category. Although the award ultimately went to Cedar Court Huddersfield Hotel, the honour of being a finalist was a reflection of the hard work and dedication that Projex Solutions has become known for.

The Business for Calderdale Awards reminded us of the strength and resilience of businesses in the area, and we were honoured to stand alongside so many incredible companies. The event highlighted the importance of businesses in not only contributing to the local economy but also making Calderdale a better place to live and work.

While we didn’t take home the trophy this time, the experience of attending such a prestigious event and being recognised as a finalist has left us more determined than ever. Projex Solutions is committed to continuing our journey of innovation, growth, and excellence, and we look forward to next year’s awards with great anticipation.
